Regarding Global Travel Rights

Dear,

I have a question regarding Global Travel Rights, it stated - Use outside of the country of purchase when purchased in home country.

How long it can be used outside the country? Is there any terms?

Maybe this can help Global Travel Rights.

It seems that you can only use it outside of the home country if you are on subscription. 

There is a list of examples and scenarios that might match your condition at the bottom of that page.

Thanks for your reply. Anyway, it didn't mention up to how many days it can be used outside the home country. Someone told us that it is 90 days, but we have to verify that.

I remember the limitation was mentioned before in FAQ, but I can't find it anymore. Yes, it was 90 days.

The limitation probably has been removed. What is your subscription model? Maintenance Plan or Subscription?

This is the global travel rights benefits for the maintenance plan. It also doesn't mention about time limitation.

I have the confirmation from Autodesk support that the 90 days limitation still applies.

You can only use the license outside of your home country for 90 days.

If so, shouldn't it be stipulated in the Terms and Conditions?

First you replied to a posting that's over 2 years old..  Things have changed..

ETR (Extra Territory Rights)  which is the new travel definitions are now based on the term length you have.  There's no 90 day limitation now.   For example if your term (subscription or maintenance plan) expires in 6 month, then your ETR is only good for 6 months.  If it expires in 3 years, your ETR is permitted for 3 years.

Sorry for being imprecise, I was referring to the Global Travel Rights - they were already discussed in this thread so I thought I'll use this thread instead of creating a new one.

I have reviewed all the documentation on Global Travel Rights that I can find and it does not mention a time limit anywhere:

I also heard on the grapevine that it is/used to be 90 days so wanted to confirm, but Autodesk agents have reported conflicting opinions.

Sorry I was also thinking this morning...

I should not had said ETR in my discussion.   Too early to think..

ETR is something else where it gives a company the right to purchase global licensing (and technically doesn't have anything to do with travel conditions)..     My bad..

When traveling, global rights (correct term), the length of duration is solely based on the term length as I indicated early.  Yes there use to be a 90 day limitation but that changed when subscription type license came onto the market.
