"licence manager not functioning or improperly installed"

Thank you very much.

From the Software that I have downloaded due to my user student licence, the following packages I have not been able to run:

AutoCad
Advanced Steel
Civil 3D
Civil 3D Grading Optimization
Infraworks
Naviswork Manage

Reason seems to be "licence manager not functioning or improperly installed". I followed instructions to download the updated licences manager, but it didn work. Im still not opening my software.
Would you possibly give me a hand with a piece of advice?

For student licenses, you can't use a license manager. That is for network licenses. You have to sign in with your student account, probably the same account you are using to post to this thread.

There can also be some technical reasons for this, such as SSO or single sign on. See this doc.

Click on the link on the "already have a license" link in the lower right and it should ask you to sign in.

Hi@Ed__Jobe Educational Institutions are able to use network licenses.

@hvelasquezmast Did you generate a new license file after obtaining the new serial numbers from the education community site?  If not, did you at least capture the serial numbers during your product selection?

NOTE: DO NOT post your serial numbers information on the forum.

For education institutions, you must register each serial number on the registeronce site.  During the registration process, you'll also generate a license at the end of each registration.  Then you can merge them into one license file (using copy and paste from each license into a single notepad file).

Hi @Darin.Green I should have been more specific. I assumed he was not installing to a network, but at home. Usually, admins deal with network licensing. Sorry 'bout that.

When you said in the first post that you downloaded student software, I assumed that you used the procedures that @Darin.Green mentioned. Have you done that yet?

Thanks, Darin. No licence files or serial numbers generated -displayed- at any instance of the installation. Wasnt any opportunity they were showed so they could be captured.

In consequence, there is no serial # I could register in the suggested https://registeronce.autodesk.com/prodreg?_ga=2.90805082.1337089079.1659108441-342261915.1658928153

Hi, Ed. No licence files or serial numbers were displayed at any instance of my installation.

So I didnt register any serial # anywhwere.

Curiously, after downloading the REVIT and the ROBOT STRUCTURAL packages by the same way, there was no situation and they run properly.

@hvelasquezmast Go to the education community here: Autodesk Education & Student Access | Autodesk

Find your products, then click the button below it.  Once there, you'll have the option to choose the license type you need for the classroom, as well we which version you need the license.  Once you choose these option and start the Download/Install process a serial number and product key will be displayed.

Hey, Darin.

I am having a hard time trying to use the Education Support customersupport@autodesk.com to get out of my access situation concerning the aforementioned softwar.... ES doesnt lead me anywhere: Im just about where I was standing1 week ago.

We came to exchange following Q&A though (which doent help me much, unless they do their part first)

Q: To resolve this, please follow the steps in this article:  https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/AutoCA...

A:  A quite complex solution path. And yes, the error message is as shown in the link.

Could you please check your side first, before I go checking my operating system?   "Product not assigned to user management in Autodesk Account", "Product licence validation process is hindered".

I accessed Robot, Revit, Bridge Design with no problem, and failed to access AutoCad, Advances Steel, Civil 3D, Infraworks and Naviswork. Why some yes, and others not, using the same accessing procedure?

Q: Please also provide the following information:
Are you using the email associated with your Autodesk/student account when trying to access these Autodesk products?

A: Yes.

Q: I see that you have a student account, did your professor share the links for you to access these products?

A: No, I got them myself. I requested the 1-year student licence personally. I already knew the products.

Q: Please let me know if this information helped resolve the issue.

A: No, it didn't.
