hi Please can you assist me with activation? I get an error.

It looks like you're getting an "Invalid Serial Number” message or having trouble with your product key while trying to register and activate your Autodesk software. The following article(s) should help you resolve the problem:

For product key information: Finding Serial Numbers & Product Keys

If you’re having an issue with your product key, please make sure that you are using the correct one for your product (especially if your product comes from a suite). Finally, you should type then numbers and letters in. We do not recommend copy/paste.

If you are still having issues activating your product, you may visit our Activation Contact Us page and submit your inquiry there.

Welcome to the Autodesk User's Community..

Although the forum rules caught your serial # and "X" it out, never and I mean never share any sensitive information here such as email address, serial #, subscription account number, business address, and phone/cell #. This is a world wide peer to peer network and such items should not be posted here for security reasons.  I will also have the moderator remove the image to protect your sensitive information.

Also this is a user based forum.  We have not access to your information or what this serial # is too.   What type of Autodesk product is this (including the version) and the license type your have for it (standalone perpetual, network perpetual, single user subscription, or multi-user subscription).

Welcome to the community. 

What operating system are you trying to run your Autodesk software on? 

Also what product are you trying to install? 

Please review the system requirements before downloading & installing to make sure you have the proper version for that OS. 

1. If you are trying to >Set-Up Student Software (click link)< depending on the download method it will automatically recognize your credentials & sign-in or you manually type in the serial# & product key (you shouldn't need an activation code)
2. Temporarily disable security settings like Antivirus, Firewall & UAC on your Windows operating system
3. An internet connection is required to activate, every 30days you should be connected to the internet at some point (to verify your license & use the software) Adjust your proxy settings, to allow access during the install & first launch, also make sure you have an uninterrupted connection. You can try another Wifi network location
4. If the online method does not work & you need a activate code for offline activation, fill out this form with the educational support team or use Register.autodesk.com
