hi

I have created a new session ( i want get rid of the old one ) on my pc and when :

  • i run Acad 2017 i get the message attached
  • i run Revit 2017 iget the message attached
  • i run RSA 2016 , nothing happens and the application does not start

If i install all these applications ( RSA2016 buildind design suite ) on my new session , is their a risk to loose my licences.

Note : I have tried the solution indicated on :

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/AutoCA...

with no sucess.

The application works only if i use Run as an administrator ...

I'm completly stuck

Thank you for assistance.

Since this is an English speaking forum, there's no way we know what the Revit message is.  Can you translate?   Is it related to this?

Also here's a collection of articles related to the license manager not functioning.  Some of the stuff maybe a repeat.

Good luck and report back on your progress.

@faisal.aaouatif - please ignore the second post from @Otto - this is a bot who, as you can see, offers unrelated solutions to your post.

@Mark.Lancaster - the Revit error is ~ "license system error 1"

The AutoCAD error is ~ "the license manager does not work or has not been installed correctly. AutoCAD will close"

@rkmcswain  Thanks..  I knew the second image just by the formatting ..    Smiley Very Happy   The first one I thought that was the correct one and that's why I linked the OP to the related article.   But anyhow thanks for clarification

Dear Mark

None of the steps works , have tried all of them Smiley Sad

Translation  (...) of Message for Revit 2017 was :

System error on licence1.

Translation  (...) of Message for Autocad 2017 :

The License manager is not functioning or is improperly installed. Autocad will shut down

Is their any other way ?

Thanks a lot

At this point, I would perform a clean uninstall per these instructions.  Just make sure to adjust settings if you have other Autodesk products already installed/working on your machine.

Next install your product in the version order needed per these steps

Download and install per:

1.  Clean out your personal temp (%temp%) folder.  Make sure you have full admin rights, set Windows UAC to never notify and if possible disable your Anti-Virus/Malware scanning utilities. Also the download should occur over a hard wired connection to the Internet and not over WIFI.

2. Access the Autodesk Virtual Agent and follow the download links to your product.

3. Download all of the parts (some applications only have a single part to download) for your product first. This means save each part to your hard drive.  Do not continue until all of the parts have fully downloaded.
4. Navigate to your download folder location and extract (double click) part _001_00X.sfx.exe (or the single file download).
5. In a few seconds the extraction will start and prompt you to extract to C:\Autodesk.
6. Once the extraction is finished, the installation will automatically start.
7. Follow the installation steps for your product.  At this point you could cancel the installation or create a deployment.

Dear Mark ,

After uninstalling and reinstalling the overall Premium building design suite and reinstalling it ( success in installation ).

I get the attached message from ACAD when i launch it.

Revit does not launch after displaying its splash screen for a quite long time .

very frustrating way to close my day ....

I don't know if there more than that to do to deal with this problem.

Thank you.

Fatal errors can point to a few things..

1.  Graphics card driver is outdated or not supported.  Please check that.  Don't rely on Windows telling it is.

2.  Your personal temp (%temp%) is loaded with too much junk.  Clean out your personal temp (%temp%) folder.  Delete as many files and folders as possible.  You will not be able to delete them all.

3.  C++ issues on your machine, follow this article.

4.  Netframe issues or Netframe 4.7 installed on your machine.

Do you have netframe 4.7 installed?  Netfrrame 4.7 is causing headaches in the Autodesk Community.

Confirm the "Version" entry in this registry entry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\v4\Full

If so I would recommend that you review the following articles

Article #1 - NETFRAME 4.7/Windows 7 ONLY

Article #2 - NETFRAME 4.7

Article #3 - NETFRAME 4.7

Article #4 - Windows Defender ONLY

Also you may want to try the Autodesk Pre-checker and see if it says anything about your machine.

Update:  And also sorry Smiley Sad this issue ruined your day.    Hopefully you were able to have a relaxing night before tackling this again..  Good luck..

Hello @faisal.aaouatif,

In most cases, an outdated graphics card can be the issue but it can be something else you can try to use >Event Viewer < to locate a system log that will indicate why you are receiving this error.

Thank you for posting.

Hello @faisal.aaouatif,

One last thing, I see you mentioned you can run it when you "Run as Administrator" make sure you have the correct permissions during the installation & after for its first launch. Sign in as Administrator or Create a New User Account (Full Control user) and try again with these new permissions.

Article regarding this issue:

Microsoft "Run as administrator" and Autodesk software issue ...

Unable to run AutoCAD as a restricted user | AutoCAD | Autodesk ...

How to set a program to run as administrator | Search | Autodesk ...

Local administrator rights and running Autodesk software | AutoCAD ...

You can try to use AIDA tool it will pull logs for you helping to indicate the cause of the issue.

Thank you.
