Hello,

we needed to reinstall PowerMill on an new Operating System which gives us: PAF Error = 4 Line = 8191

Dongle ID: 49843 (DC2B3)

I can't find any useful links to reactivate/Regenerate the PAF File. Could you please sent us a working one?

Kind regards

Where does your PAF file reside?

Hello, @Anonymous,

If you still have the old PAF file somewhere (e-mail or whatever), you can re-use it, because it is only linked to the dongle itself.

That means that you can use it on any PC, as long as the dongle is physically attached to the PC. It just should be located by default in c:\dcam, as long as I can remember (I have a network license, which is not working 100% the same way). Don't forget to install also the PAF wizard for a standalone dongle: This should help you to validate your license.

If you have no way to find your PAF file, then you should take contact with your Autodesk's representative, since I don't think that there is any way to retrieve it from the former Delcam forum.
