Hi guys,

Recently we had to move the cable network from 1 NIC to another on the same server (of course we moved the server ip address) we generate a new LIC file with the new MAC address, config it in lmtools but lmtools identifies another NIC on the server - solusion?

thanks in advance

Moshe

@Simon_Weel ,

thanks you for this reply.

Just to make it clear as you can see in picture the ip address lmtools is recognizing is APIPA, and this the other NIC the server holds, actually it is a virtual NIC.  can i ignore it?

What's the error code you're getting?

Is everyone on the 11.18?  Most current version of the NLM?

The field 'Ethernet' lists the MAC-address - which in your case is rather long? It looks like a bunch of combined MAC-addresses. If you check the machine's 'Network connection details' (or perform 'ipconfig /all' from a command line) then it should list the MAC-address with the IP-address tied to that MAC-address. Make sure that MAC-address is the only one in the license file (server FSERVER <MAC address>).

For updates on the NLM manager - read the installation notes carefully. You need to remove all existing files before installing the update. If you don't (like I did), not all files will be updated which could result in problems later on.
