Network License Manager Error [0.0.0]

Hello together.

We have installed the Network Licenes eManager using the Manuel.

The Server status within LMTOOLS looks good. The firewalls on the Server and the client are down during the test.

On the client: The LGS.data file is set to _NETWORK and the LICPATH.lic contains the correct Servername.

On the Client we get the error [0.0.0] Networklicense unavailable by starting AutoCAD 2017

Has anybody an idea? Thanks.

Can you provide the debug log as defined in the config service tab of your license manager.  Also there was no need to "X" out the numbers..  They are all the same for everybody using that product.     In addition make sure "EVERYONE" has full rights to the location of the debug log file.

i think Autocad is looking for an Autocad license that is only for advance steel which Autocad will not use

is there more products in the license file?

the Error is the same for AutoCAD and Advance Steel. Advance Steel needs AutoCAD to run an the license includes AutoCAD.

The log directory needs rights for everyone? Is the service  from lmtools not the only one who writes in the log?

The error is associated with a license file that can not be obtained. Please take a look at the suggested set-up from Autodesk make sure your license file has been generated properly Finding Your Host Name and Physical Address, Generate a Network License File in Autodesk Account or Requesting a Network License File. 

Then try to...

Start/Stop Server Manager Service

1. Locate Lmtools  in C:\Autodesk \Network License Manager (folder)
2. Make sure the current version of Lmtools 11.13.1.2 is installed
3. Verify License File, MAC address & HostID with Lmtools System Settings Tab
4. Config Service Tab > Make sure files are pathed correctly (lmgrd.exe, Lic. File.lic, Debug.log) > Save Service button
5. Start/Stop/Reread Tab > Select FlexNet Service (should only be 1 Autodesk service) > Check Box Force Server Shutdown > Select Stop Server Button > Uncheck Box Force Server Shutdown > Start Server > Server Start Successful. (should appear below)
6. Verify users are pulling licenses

Hi Natasha, thanks for your reply.

i have done all steps like they are dicriped in the three articels. The only thing i have not mentioned bevor is that the server is virtualized on vm ware. but everyrhing is done as deskiped.

Please review the information here: Autodesk Virtualization FAQ 

Autodesk can provide recommendations of how to set this up in an ordinary Network Server environment, in this case, I would contact VMware for recommendations on how to do this from their side. Maybe a community member that has set this up can provide some guidance on this @dgladfelter or @Darin.Green.

The new license manager is set to install in C:\Autodesk\Network License Manager\ location now. That being the case, check the following:

1. Make sure the Network License Manager directory and it's subfiles have the everyone group listed with Full Permission
2. Make sure all of the paths point to files within the Network License Manager folder.
   • C:\Autodesk\Network License Manager\lmgrd.exe
   • C:\Autodesk\Network License Manager\License\license.lic
   • C:\Autodesk\Network License Manager\logs\debug.log
