My 3Ds MAX is not working

When I try to use my student version of 3ds max, it's not working. I think It's because I don't have entered my activation code, but there is no place to do it...

Thank you.

Welcome to the community...

When you say its not working..  What do you mean?  Does the application load or what happens when the application loads?

When I open the program my views are gray and I can' do anything. But I think it's because 3ds max has not asked for my activation code. Is there a place where I can enter it manually?

I don't believe its a activation issue..  A non-activated application can run full for 30 days and does not impact its usage.  If its past the 30 days it wouldn't be able to launch without being activated.

When launching

If you have a version Pre-2017 you would be prompted (a window) to run in a trial mode or to activate it

2017 version you would be seeing a Lets Get Started dialog to enter serial #/product key

If none of that is appearing then its activated.

I'm not a 3DS Max user or expert and I can only offer the following 2 items

1.  Make sure you have the latest graphics card driver (version).  Do not rely on Windows telling you it is.

2.  Post over in the 3DS Max user forum.  You may get a better results with the actual users.
