MoldFlow Design - license problem, Code 110, no license file, which license type

Hello,

I am 5th year student, and I need Autodesk Moldflow to finish my master thesis.

Nice to meet You!

Problem:

I have downloaded Moldflow Adviser Ultimate software, and it is not working after installing.

To specify the problem:
During instalation I have chosen standalone license type. I've put the serial number and installed Moldflow Design and Mold Flow Adviser.
As far as i know, moldflow design is needed for importing the 3D models.
After instalation I was able to start Moldflow Adviser, create new project and etc. (it was working properly) But when I wanted to inport 3D model (.ipt or .stp) the MF design didn't work. I got and info that "Autodesk MoldFlow Design Link import failed. Either Autodesk MoldFlow Design Link license is not found.)" (pic1 from the attachment).

After starting MoldFlow design, the "Autodesk Licensing window is appearing. After that I am clicking "Activate" and the error 110 is appearing (pic 2 from attachment)

Is there any solution for this problem?

Do i need to use "server license" during instalation? If yes, please tell me where I can find license file and how to configure the server.

Best Regards,

WF

Which MF Adviser version? It doesn't support the .ipt/.spt version you're trying to import, maybe.

Here are the supported file versions by MFAA2019

Dear Miss,

I've installed both versions which i could achieve - MF adviser 2018 and 2019. Both of them didn't work.

I've tried to import .ipt and .stp created in inventor 2019.

I think that the problem must be in MF design, because I can't even start it (as it show n on attached pic.)

Both of the files are on the list of formats proper to import.

In the product information window (during the installation process), in the field "name of the server" try to put your PC's name, instead of localhost.

Run LMTools and check what's in "Config Services" (upload a screenshot): there should be the full path for lmgrd.exe, license file and log file; if not configure it and name the service Autodesk NLM or whatever you want
