Licensing service version verification

How can I verify that my Autodesk Desktop Licensing Service is the most recent version?
I've noticed that the current installer is named AdskLicensingInstaller-win-13.2.0.9150 while the AdskLicensingService.exe service properties on my computer show 11.5.0.7 (date modified 28.03.2023). Would this property actually show 13.2.0.9150 if I was on the right version, or are these numbers not related?
The release notes are somewhat limited with regard to version numbers, but I noticed a version 11.18.x mentioned in entries from June 2022, which could suggest my ADLS is even older.

We run Named User Licensing and our solution provider recently upgraded our AutoCAD installation to v2023.1.3.

For some odd reason, Autodesk decided to give the installer file a version number and to give the actual files in that installer different version numbers. So if Autodesk says version number '13.2.0.9150' is the latest, they mean the version number of the installer file. Indeed pretty confusing.

Thank you for confirming my suspicions 🙂 There no way of knowing the version number hidden inside the v13.2.0.9150 installer, I presume? Apart from actually installing it of cause, which I'm not allowed to due to corporate policy.

Installed the Licensing Service on my private computer, which revealed that AdskLicensingInstaller-win-13.2.0.9150 contains Desktop Licensing Service v11.11.0.4128 (June 14.2023). Not extremely intuitive, but case closed.

After installing an Autodesk Licensing Service Update, you can check the version number by navigating to this file path:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\AdskLicensing

Open the version.ini file in Notepad and it will show the version number:
