License claiming it's expired

Anonymous
Not applicable

I got the free trial student version of AutoCad (the one that's supposed to last 3 years) but this is the second time a pop up for "license expired" has kicked me out. The first time I got it to let me back in the next day and this time it's been a full two days. I haven't even made it a year on my free trial agreement period. Any suggestions? I was trying to reach AutoCad customer service directly or an Autodesk email but when searching this is the place I was lead to.

Education Licenses aren't trials and you get three years for each product version so any 2017 products will be coming to the end.

Check: http://manage.autodesk.com/ and ensure your products still appear.

Hello @Anonymous,

The email you have on file & are using to sign into the forums here does not show any Student licenses.

Please review this video to set up your student licenses.

I had a similar experience with a student license after switching computers. After a few hours of messing around, the solution for me was to close the app, open my account on a web browser, go to account>user management>by product, unassign myself from the program (fusion 360), sign out, and then sign in and reassign myself. After reopening the app, it showed as expired for a few seconds but then worked. Hope this helps someone!
