Is there an affordable Inventor licence and not $5670 rental every 3 yrs ?

Hi,
I need to find a one off payment and own it option. What are the options ?
I had assumed the licence was perpetual only to find as of Jan 2016 thats gone,
AUTODESK HAVE JUST KILLED ANY HOPES OF USING THEIR PROGRAM.
I am not making vast profits, in fact struggling to make any at all, made a $6000 loss first year and this rental will kill any chances of struggling through.
Given what is said at another website,
yearly is cheaper than monthly, and I canot affird the yearly if its never ending.
And the bombshell discovery that the $5670 to purchase Inventor and own it and see profit in time, is now only to rent it for a mere 3 years then that amount is required all over again, add that lot up over time as one has it to use occasionally, unlike someone in a profitable business using it every day, for paying clients, it’s a killer, its ‘game over’. Rental is mental at $5670
Any bank loan to buy it would still be running when the 3 years was up, so back to back bank loans ., not good !
THE BIG ISSUE IS….it doesn’t allow for beginners in self employment having to learn it and be able to charge and recoup that fee, its going to be many months before becoming proficient enough to consider charging for the time it takes to use it on work. Users of PCs also have other progs to pay for, in my case Photoshop, Msoft Office, Photogrammetry, video editing, and more besides, which also are going rental mode more and more, such means if you don’t use a program the months rental is wasted, then there is two months to try and recoup. It is not possible to use all progs enough to justify their costs but they are needed from time to time, so rental is bad news, you end up paying forever for them yet never owning one pixels worth. They add up to a vast amount, all waking hours spent trying to recoup their costs from clients, slave to the PC, Its as if someone at Autodesk has thought Inventor is the only prog the user will have so $5670 isn’t too bad every 3 years. I have only ever paid for perpetual licence and this is 5x the most expensive perpetual licence prog ever bought.
Autodesk have gone from that as a one off payment to that as a repeat payment, that is far in excess of any inflation figures we struggle to cope with. Why no option to buy it outright, that wouldn’t have hurt, they had that as the original plan they said.
It is anti hobbyist and small timers…..It also doesn’t consider those of us in a hobby type scenario either, who might use it occasionally, and maybe develop its usage. They are killed off now. No way can they pay $5670 every 3 years. To kick hobbyists and small timers in the teeth is so very wrong.
A friend who wanted it for hobby use has said, that’s the end of that then !

Autodesk have completely shunned those of us that are not able to command high prices for our output, those of us that are starting off with the product and have a long way to go to get proficient with it so as to start running a business, meanwhile the months spent learning it see us paying out and not recouping that cost. A kick in the teeth for people wishing to do something intelligent with their spare time. I say support people interested in your product, don’t deny them their interest in your prog. Who knows where their interests might take them, better to have them pay $5670 once than not at all.
To kick in the teeth those starting out on your product in their new business is terrible practice.
DO NOT KICK NEW BUSINESSES IN THE TEETH.
My own hopes were to make $5670 every few years, not end up using it to pay for the program every 3 years and have zero profit ad infinitum.
For this to apply to all Autodesk products, you haven’t considered the wide variety of users, you are thinking corporate, not for the folk who are fans of Inventor or autocad etc etc who cant spend every hour of every day slogging away trying to recoup its costs. I might just manage that as the 3 years ends only to have to start over again, this in effect will end any private time I would have had, I get little as it is, I will now be working 24/7, all hours spent paying for a program that is never mine. This is what that one change in policy will mean, end of any chance to have some private time.
An option to have a perpetual Licence should have remained, as Autodesk initially said it would have, in an interview a few years ago when rental was introduced.
Is there an affordable alternative, I wont rent progs. I wont rent anything if at all possible. V bad practice. Internet has others hating this only rental option move.
I find myself looking for alternatives now, and I am truly gutted to have to do so. I had all my hopes in Inventor.
