Is the free student trial license 3 years or 1 year?

What’s changing?
Effective March 25th, 2020, the term length for all single user, multi-user and network Educational licenses available through the Autodesk Education Community, is 1-year. Users who continue to meet eligibility criteria, can access new Educational licenses under applicable terms. Upon expiration, licenses are renewable if the user still meets the eligibility criteria. This applies to all software products and all versions available through the Autodesk Education Community to students, educators, educational institution IT/ lab administrators and competition mentors.
Why has this been done?
Autodesk remains committed to supporting students, educators and educational institutions through the provision of free educational licenses for Autodesk professional software tools and services. A 1-year license term for Educational licenses helps to assure the legitimate use of these free licenses for educational purposes.

this was a change made this year. They have it so you can renew it ever year now
