I have seen and will try to download the Inventor service pack tomorrow.

My lunchtime is finished today, I do my company forum stuff at lunchtime

and my personal forum stuff at home

Unfortunately my personal service pack issue at home remains unsolved by both Autodesk and my reseller, 3 days and counting now.

You only need to do 2018.2 and 2018.2.3 

That will get you caught up for Inventor

For AutoCAD, you need 2018.1.1 and 2018.1.2

Can you send me a direct link to a PDF or document that simply says

what Autocad and Inventor service packs are available for 2018 and what

they consist of, (ie what are the features)

There is an awful lot of info around, in an awful lot of places, but I want something straight to

the point telling me the above.

I would like to be in full possession of all the info, before I do anything further

You should only need to install 2018.2 and 2018.2.3

Are you on Subscription / Maint?

I will install those 2 on Monday Lunchtime.

I don't know whether we are on subscription or maintenance,

I am not in charge, the drawing office manager will know.

He doesn't normally worry about service packs, consequently nor do the other draftsmen.

I am the only one who does it, and I do it outside working hours, ie lunchtime

2018.2 has all of the prior ... and 2018.2.3 fixes a couple of bugs in 2018.2 ...

You'll be all up to date once you have them installed.

Note:  2018.3 should be coming out next week or soon from what Chris M was posting.

Am downloading Inventor 2108.2 Update right now. It is takeing forever!!

Can I open Autocad 2018 while the update is downloading, and carry on working

All done and installed. Thanks for your help.

Autodesk have kindly  allowed me 3 months extension on my private

Autodesk Product Design Suite Ultimate 2018 License, so I can install

my service packs there too.

Now that I have done it at work, I know exactly how to do it at home!

Sounds good ...and glad you're all set.  Keep an eye out for 2018.3 for Inventor .... should be coming soon.
