I've recently installed the downloader for 3DS Max 2013 as part of the student licencing as I'm learning animation, but my computer is only a 32bit operating system so the newer 3DS Maxs wont run (I tried with crossed fingers but alas it didn't humour the idea of installing) anyhow, I followed some links produced amongst these forums to the Product Code and 2013 installer which downloaded and installed fine.
But it needs a serial number. I tried 000-000000 which is what I've seen on a few posts and then it sends a request for activation, but I get a big red X when I do so. I was just wondering how I go about getting a student licence for this version of 3DS Max, I had a friend who's studying computer animation and said it worked fine for him when he downloaded it last year to do some extra work out of college on it.
If anyone could assist that'd be great as I can't find any links to generate a serial number other than the 2014+ versions of the program and they're all 64bit 😞
