installation problems

hi guys,

hope you can help.

I'm trying to install Inventor(student), I get about half way through and it stops with message saying I need a .NET 4.5*. so I try to download a Microsoft .NET and it tells me not only do I have it but I have a better version. I know absolutly nothing about extension .NET

On my computer I do know that this component has been moved from it's original position drive  (C) to (D) and back to C again.

At the moment I'm falling behind in class because of my inability to access Inventor at home, any help will be greatly appreciated.

What version of Inventor and operating system do you have?

Uninstall whatever net version you have, put net 4.5 on, install Inventor and then put the original version of net you had back on.
