Installation Incomplete. Some products failed to install.

I have tried everything I can think of (including all available Revit versions) and I cannot get Revit to install on my laptop.  I had no issues putting Revit 2020 on my desktop but it always fails.  I even took my laptop to the computer support at my college and they couldn't figure it out, they did tell me they had several students with Microsoft.

Any ideas on how to install Revit 202 on a Microsoft Surface Laptop?

revit download.PNGsurface laptops complain of having the same issue.

Hello @Anonymous,

If you are using a Download Now or Install Now you want to try a more effective method called Browser Download.

  1. Conduct a Clean Uninstall of the previous installation & use the MSfixitTool to complete it
  2. Reboot the computer, make sure apps are not auto running in the background
  3. Log in as Administrator (check your permissions, full control) or create a new profile
  4. Make sure you have an uninterrupted & high-speed connection to the internet
  5. Clean out the TEMP folder. To open the TEMP folder, type %TEMP% in the address bar of Windows Start Menu and hit Enter (Windows)
  6. Temporarily disable security settings like Antivirus, Firewall & UAC on your Windows operating system
  7. Use the Browser Download Method in your Autodesk Account or via the AVA | Autodesk Virtual Agent (download all the parts)

@Anonymous

Your posting is about a week old now..  Do you still need assistance?

If so I would recommend updating the 2020 licensing mechanism and try the installation again using the method @Anonymous  and @natasha.l have pointed out.

I'm a year late, and a dollar short.  I am having exact same problem.  Installing Revit 2020 was a breeze.  Installing Revit 2021 seems like mountain of hassle for an old computer illiterate guy like myself.  No short cuts?

Thanks.

Hi. I think I have similar issue with installing 2021 Revit on Windows 10.
During installing I get messages "Installation incomplete", "Install failed".
I did according the instructions, but it didn`t help.
Could you help me with this issue?
