Looks like you need to clear some space on your storage... AKA delete stuff from your computer.

Hello @afishetumomodu ,

This issue indicates that there is not enough free space on the C disk of your computer to install Revit 2023. As a solution, I recommend you to empty the C disk. First, you can start by deleting the files in the following places;

Temp Files: With all Autodesk software closed, navigate to the temp folder (type %TEMP% in Windows File Explorer and press Enter - or - C: Users\Username\AppData\Local\Temp), then delete as many files as possible.

Journal Files: The file path is located at, C: Users\Username\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Revit\Autodesk Revit <release>.

After making sure that there is enough space on the C disk, if the problem still persists, may recommend you to review the following;

Hi @afishetumomodu ,

Have you tried also installing Revit on a secondary drive by reviewing the articles below?

Thanks I really appreciate your efforts.. At the moment I don't have a second drive on my PC. I only have a 1 terabyte SSD currently installed on my PC. The thing is, I have previously installed Revit 2023 on this same PC, a sibling toyed with my PC and uninstalled some apps including Revit 2023.  Trying to install back, I encountered this error I'm battling with. I can't think of possibly formatting my drive

Hi @afishetumomodu ,

I think I understand better what the problem is with this answer. If Revit was previously installed and uninstalled on the hardware, some files may not have been deleted during the uninstall process and a clean uninstall was not performed. The process called clean uninstall includes a few additional procedures besides uninstalling the program.
My advice to you is to do a clean uninstall for Revit by following the steps in the link below.

How to Complete a Clean Uninstall of Revit products

After the clean uninstall is complete, you can try to reinstall Revit.

I hope these methods work.

Delete what you don't need from the C\ Autodesk  and C\download ... the clean out the %temp% folder

From there make sure you're the admin installing the software.  Make sure you're using a browser download and not the Webinstaller ...

Hello, I am having the exact same issue as described above. @gokcen.ezgi.sen I followed all of the steps to do a clean uninstall, I have also tried to change the saved location of the install to my (D) drive which has over 1TB free. It's not an issue with my computer storage, for some reason the Revit installer is trying to save a 36.08mb file in a location titled (Revit 2023) which does not exist, hence the error. I have removed all references of Revit 2023, temp files, add-ins, program data, program files, however nothing seems to fix this issue.

This might help: "Out of Disk Space" during Autodesk products installation

Especially the part about relocating the temp-folder.
