How long before the network license server goes down do you lose the license?

Hello, 

We are currently on network licences for our AutoDesk products.

We have issues where we need to reboot the license server every now and again.

We need to know if we can reboot the server during working hours, or outside working hours.

With this in mind how much grace time do you have without a license without the app, Inventor, AutoCAD etc. start complaining and shutting down?

What actually happens when the license server goes down?

I believe a few seconds can’t say for sure

As far as what happens the software should ask you to save your work before closing down but this may not happen with every product

Strange, i've been doing tests and I'm getting 45 min now on both Inventor and AutoCAD.
