Fusion 360 - Offline licence VS Online licence

Hello, i am still using winows 7 because my computer is not powerful enough for an upgrading version up to W10...

But the question is somewhere else. When i launch F360 in offline mode, the main window gives a title as "term has expired"  but when i go online (or updating F360) the main window turns with "educational licence" ...

I do not know what to do in order to get the same version of F360 in both mode.

waiting for your help. thanks !

Hi @Anonymous,

Any particular reason for running Fusion 360 in offline mode?

Fusion 360 is meant to run online and offline usage is limited to 2-week blocks before you need to sync up.

Can you attach your diagnostic logs? https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-t...

Hello, i put the log file in the attached files.
i often run Fusion 360 OffLine because i have a quota with a satellite
connexion.
When it is necessary, with the reminder, i go online. that's all !
About the licence, when i am OnLine, i get the "educational licence" and
even coming back OffLine, i keep the "educational licence".
But next time, if i launch Fusion 360 (staying in Offline mode) i get "Term
has expired"
But Fusion 360 still works !
thank you very much for your help.
best regards

Hi @Anonymous,

Did you reply via email? I don't see any attached logs - you have attached files on the forum website.

Hello ! did someone read the joined file with the log ?

Even with "term has expired" when i am in Offline Mode, the sotware is still working.

How can i recover my version in both modes (OffLine & OnLine) ?

thanks

this was a bug apparently

https://www.autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/blog/october-2020-product-update-whats-new/

Fixed: Term has Expired issue

We got reports that some of you have been getting an unexpected “Term has Expired” tag next to the Fusion 360 app name in the window frameApparently, some wires got crossed and triggered this incorrect tag. Sorry about that – this is now fixed

update to the latest build of Fusion 360
