Experiencing Issues with Educational Access and Subscription

After realizing that my educational AutoCAD subscription had expired, I attempted to renew it. While my educational access has been successfully renewed until September 7, 2026, the actual license (subscription renewal) for AutoCAD does not seem to be updating properly.

(This is my product tab. Also, when I click “Access” in the product tab for AutoCAD (as shown in the screenshot), nothing changes and the subscription status remains the same.)

 For example, when I click on Inventor, I am directed to a page where I can submit for a student subscription, as shown in the attached image. However, when I try the same process for AutoCAD or Revit, I am redirected to a download page instead of a subscription submission page. I clicked on “installation” and downloaded the files, but the subscription has still not been renewed.

 

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Hi @09isu82PZV, would you please reset your license to see if the issue gets resolved? If not, please contact the education support so they can look into your account.

Hi @09isu82PZV, it looks like you have contacted the education support and they helped you to solve the issue. I'm writing how you solved it below and mark it as an accepted solution so others who have the same issue can refer to it in the future.

 

  1. Access Education Community 
  2. Select different products (not AutoCAD or Revit) and download an installer * no need to install
  3. Your product license will be renewed

Hi @mari.shimode. I have the same problem this page deals with; I followed your instructions but did not succeed in solving the problem. When contacting the education support, I am always redirected to the digital assistant, that doesn't solve anything. Could you please help me? I am really struggling as this is the third day I try everything and always fail. Please note that I have autodesk's confirmation mail about the successfull renewal of my educational plan.
