Error installing Revit2026, get error code -532462766

Hello all! Working with a new user and when attempting to install Revit 2026, the app gets to 40%, then uninstalls the app, gives an error code -532462766 with a solution that doesn't help. This is the first install for this user, and the first time I have come across this issue. Have tried to reinstall the app, no change. Has anyone else come across this issue?

Error seems to be related to .NET. Do you have .NET 8 installed? Determine which .NET Framework versions are installed - .NET Framework | Microsoft Learn

I see ASP.NET Core 8.0.11 and 8.0.16
