Educator Proof for Home School?

My kids are in a parent-partnership homeschool program through a local school district. Basically, this means the kids are homeschooled full time, but with oversight from a licensed public school teacher. I see that "homeschooling" is included in the eligibility list . I followed the guide, selecting "Home School (any)" from the list of available institutions and I'm being asked for documentation to prove it. The pages I looked at said what I should choose for the institution, but made no mention of the documentation that would work for this situation.

I know the validation is done through a 3rd party vendor. I'm not sure what paperwork I'd submit to show that my kids are indeed homeschooled. I have the course curriculum I put together for the year's classes, but that doesn't have my name on it. Any ideas on how to move forward or am I out of luck? I've been using the hobbyist license, but the recent restrictions on projects is proving to be a hassle. Thank you

Hi @crlaozwyn,

In terms of what is required:

The document must include:
▪ Your full legal name
▪ The name of the educational institution at which you are enrolled or
employed
▪ A date within the current school term

Full details can be found here: https://damassets.autodesk.net/content/dam/autodesk/www/industries/education/docs/verification-faq.p...

Thanks @Anonymous I'll give this a shot and report back how it goes 🙂

Thanks for the reply @leowarren34 however I am not enrolled or employed by an institution. As mentioned, I am homeschooling my kids and using 3d modeling/design in their math curriculum. That's the issue - I don't have the documentation that would be easy to procure at a traditional school.

Hi @crlaozwyn,

From the entire FAQ, I interpret Institution in this instance as being the association you are apart of - since you mentioned there is a teacher providing oversight.

Hi @crlaozwyn,

@leowarren34  & @Anonymous  are 100% correct in the information they gave - you can read more about "Who's Eligible" here: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/customer-service/account-management/autodesk-for-education/students-a...

Depending on your oversight, you may be eligible! I would encourage you to log a case with the Education Support Team here: https://www.autodesk.com/education/support/edu-contact-us-form and with SheerID that Ryan linked earlier. If you need further help you can hover over my name and select 'Send a Pricate Message' with your case number for the Education Team and I'll take a look. 🙂

I hope this helped!

To wrap this up, in my situation it appears I can't meet the documentation requirements due to the unique program in which my kids are enrolled. They're homeschooled, but the documents show their supporting teacher.

It appears the best way to proceed in this case is to enroll the kids' accounts instead of my own.
