Good Day,

We're trying to download Revit 2020/2021 on Parallel Windows on a Mac, but the download doesn't want to work. Any suggestions?

You can go through the automated page here to grab all the files you want (there are many for each year version) https://ava.autodesk.com/modular/?module=download
Also...
Direct links for all 6 files for REVIT2021 can be found here https://vinr9.wordpress.com/2020/04/25/autodesk-products-2021-direct-download-links/
And dozens of other locations all over the web if you want to try a google search.

I am having the same problem.  A friend challenged me to get outside the Mac OS and run Revit. So I took him up—So I am running only Revit on Parallels, I have 500 Gigs allocated to the Windows partition; running Windows 10 on an Intel Mac i9 8 core. Downloading the files worked fine, but the .exe files begin to self-extract, then hang- the extraction installation just stops cold—see visual attached. I accepted the path proposed by the installer C:/Revit Tried quitting all other running programs, rebooting, tried waiting 30 minutes for extraction to resume, but to no avail. I am new to the Windows environment so I may be doing something obviously wrong. Could be the files got corrupted in download, could be I need a different path? I had a 30-day free trial version of Revit running before I bought the license, so I know the system works when installed properly. I uninstalled the free trial version before attempting this install.  Really need this install to succeed! Thanks,

I installed google Crome on parallels, then downloaded Revit and civil 3D from the website to Crome downloads and opened the file from the Crome. Worked like a charm. (02/05/2022)

Bonjour,

Hi @Hugo_hanniet

Share a new Screenshot of what you're seeing. This is a 2 year old post is why.

Also what versions of Autodesk Software, what version of Windows?

I had the exact same problem trying to install Revit via a download using Safari. When I tried Chrome instead, an option appeared on the dropdown menu in addition to 'download', it was 'install' and it worked like a charm.
