Do I need recreate everything in revit commercial licenses (AD EDU Question) or

Firstly, sorry for my english

Currently I still use education version, I know its not allowed to use file from education for commercial, so if I have models "BlueHouse" (from education file) that I want to use for commercial , I just need for recreate it (BlueHouse) again in commercial licenses right?
Or, is there any additional option like purchasable licenses for converting lic from education file to commercial? like buying 3years full licenses?

If this model will be used for commercial purposes, then yes, I think it should be recreated using a proper license.

@RobDraw@Anonymous No you don't have to recreate the drawing.

I know this is something that is floating around on Revit Forums "you can't use a project from an Educational license in a Commercail license" but  this is simple wrong.

Get the proper license for you Revit version, open your file and you can simply work in that file.

okay guys, i think i will make it clear. its my fault to not explain it cleary,
actually Im not talking about the file, I know we can't use edu file even if we already buy the commercial lic, but my question is like this (I should use this question from beginning):

because revit edu give us 3 years free lic, of course i believe we could master the software before 3 year. so after we master it(the software) i want use the remaining lisense period to learning design good house or building or etc. ie: I design 2floorbluehouses

so, my question is, its clear to me that we are not allowed use "revit file of 2floorluehouses" that i created in revit edu, but Im still allowed to use the design of the 2floorbluehouses by redraw it in commercial version, didn't it?

The design is not covered by the EULA. That is a totally different animal.

thanks for the answer, because what im afraid until know is, "what will happened to my design if when i learning revit and learning design a good houses and i suddenly create awesome house, i afraid i can't use the design"

until know im rarely learn designing in revit because of this issue 😞

I think it's pretty cool that you even care to ask about it, since i know a lot of educational licenses are being used for commercial use - it's something which is really hard for Autodesk to track.

In all honesty i don't think you should worry about using stuff made on Edu-license for commercial use, as long as you buy a commercial license before selling anything. I know that it is possible to speculate in this for big companies or huge projects, but it sounds like you are mainly working on smaller projects in which case a couple of months work on edu license is hardly something you should be ashamed of using.

This is bad advice and violation of the rules..  Anything created in a educational license is for learning/training purposes only.  In the background of the data is an educational stamp.  If you just take those files created in the educational version and open them in a commercial license, the stamp is still there and fines can be issued if Autodesk every audited you.  They must be re-created again once a commercial license has been obtained.  No exceptions..

If you are not attending a qualified educational institution anymore and you still have time left on your free 3 year license..  You still can't use it.  The license is only for those who are attending school..  If you finished, quit, or not returning..  The license is no longer valid even though there's time left on it.

In addition you can carry over any design you create in the educational version, but you must obtain a commercial license and redo or recreate the design using a commercial license.
