Difference in directories locations

Windows 10 has a directory structal in 

C:\Users\Public\PublicDocuments\ wheras autocad is guided to write some informations in 

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2019\R23.0\PTXML

at the time of instalation <bold/Italic > directories are manualy created it is a time consuming and mently torcher pls. guide autocad setup to install its components in Windows 10 directory structe

Are you saying the installation is creating another document folder under the "ALL USER" section?

In all the years I've done installation or assisted on them..  I've never seen this and I would speculate you don't have the proper permissions on your machine to install.  @mdavis22569 have you ever seen this before, where the installation prompts to create a document folder under the all users folder location?

nope ...I haven't seen this before ..

 

Permissions ...maybe

 

How is this being installed ... deployment / individually ..

What you see in the windows explorer view is not always what the real folder structure is on your pc.

Just another example to explain: If you have a german Windows 10 you see in the windows explorer a folder "Programme". That does not exists it is only a "localized name" in the "explorer view".

 

And it is the same with your "PublicDocuments". See my screenshot and try the same on your pc:
