Classic User Management missing!

Autodesk have yet again made changes to the UI and I can not find the classic user management anywhere! I need urgent access to it to be able to control our seat assignments. Can anyone help?

Hi,

 

This has happened to a few other users as well. Typically when I see an issue with Autodesk manage portal, I recommend either logging in from a different browser (Chrome seems to work best) or if you're using your preferred browser and it recently changed, then clear the cache for the browser and login fresh. 

 

This link provides a shortcut for clearing your cache: Shortcut for Clearing Browser Cache 

 

If that doesn't work, since this is an Autodesk Account issue you should open a ticket directly with Autodesk as they can emulate your account and verify if Classic User Management still shows on their end, which will confirm that it's a browser issue.

I meant to include the keyboard shortcut from the article: You can simply press Control+Shift+Delete to clear the cache.

I turns out that if you go into "By Product" there's a tiny text on the top where you can choose "classic user management" and when you click on that the UI for the left panel changes and "Classic user management" shows up. It seems to stick to the left panel for a random period of time before suddenly disappearing again. (Probably a secret AI that can pin point exactly how long it takes for me to forget how the hell I got it to show up and removes it again after that...)

 

The best part was that I filed a support case and Autodesk support couldn't solve it, they just gave me non relevant answers. As usual solved by a ninja user.

I'm glad you were able to figure it out. This is still abnormal behavior, I have not seen this occur with any of the hundreds of customers I've assisted with account issues, and I've never had an internal support ticket for this issue. I'm curious myself to know what the issue, but it's good enough to know a work-around. I will log this information should run into the same issue with a customer.

I cleared my cache and still cannot find the classic user management link.

Do you still have old products that would fall under Classic User Management? If you follow Eva's steps to access through By Product you would see the option for this if you have products. If your old products have fallen off and everything switched then the old interface goes away. It looks to me like you may not have any class user products.
