Chart that plots debug file

Hello,

Has anyone designed a Chart that can plot the Debug file(license usage) from FlexLM? It would be useful for our teams to have more transparency over license usage. At the moment when the program cannot access a license they call me (SysAdmin) and i have to look who's using the program etc. Having a chart of how we use the licenses would be helpful for Management to resource etc

Many thanks,

Leo.

Not saying no one ever did this but you may be waiting around awhile for someone to say they did.   Smiley LOL

@JTBWorld has some tools https://jtbworld.com/ that may help you in this instance.

But if this is happening on a regular basis it would mean that you don't have enough license to support your community.   Have you implement an option file to define a smaller timeout return value for idled licenses?   Perhaps people are not using them and have a return value of 30 minute idle time.  When it reaches that value the license is returned.

Thanks Mark. I shall check out the link, it looks perfect from what i've seen thus far.

We’re using the standard 900 idle and it works very well but as you say we probably don’t have enough licenses.
