cant install program

i cant install my 3ds max, i use to have it installed a while ago and removed due to not using i am now trying to install again and i keep getting this message, as in picture

Welcome to the community...

On that dialog that indicates the failed installation of your product is a link to your installation file.  Post it here as a text file so we can review it to see what's going on.   However I'm going to assume you were using the install now option...

So give this a try...  Go to the Autodesk Virtual Agent and follow the download links to your product.  Download all of the parts first (some applications may only have a single part to download) and then go to your download location.  Extract (double click) part 1 (or the single part download) and in a few seconds the extraction will start.   It will then prompt you to extract to C:\Autodesk and once the extraction is finished the installation will start.  Also make sure you have admin rights, UAC is turned off and Anti-Virus temporary disabled prior to installation.

Download and Install the Medium Resolution Material library for your version from here.   Once that is completed.  Follow my steps regarding the virtual agent.
