Cannot install developertools.msi

Running Inventor Professional 2018 Build 171 x64 release 2018.1 in Windows 10 Pro v1703 Build 15063.540.

Tried installing developertools.msi, received error "Could not find any version of Microsoft Visual Studio".

Have Visual Studio Professional 2017 v15.3.3 installed in .NET Framework 4.7.02046

Can anyone clue me why the Developer Tools is giving me this error & won't install?

Probably its not updated to recognize VS 2017.

Expanding on the previous post. I believe the Inventor dev tools only support up to VS 2015 at this time. I'm personally still using VS 2012 since I installed it before 2015 was supported and it definitely works.
