Hello
I am confused about startup licenses being renewed. The legal terms say non-renewable but various threads on this forum talk about it being renewable but I wonder if that is under exceptional circumstances or old terms of subscription.
The reason I am asking is my startup license expires next year. I am a cottage industry. My annual revenue is around £6K with profits of under £1K. I don't expect, or want, my business to grow much more than where it is now, but moving to the full Fusion Subscription would wipe out most of the profits, making it pointless. In addition, a significant portion of my revenue is not actually from designs done with Fusion but ones I acquired from another cottage modeller and they were done in SketchUp (Urgh!)
It's a big jump from the Startup license to the full license.
If I can't renew then the only sensible option would be for me to move my designs into FreeCAD and move to that which I don't really want to do.
Any help or advice would be appreciated. With 1 year left to run I have to make the decision to switch allegiances or not.
Stuart
