Can change Revit Student license to Building Design Suite license?

Hi, everyone, I want to ask your help and suggestion.

My employer has one Building Design Suite Premium license and want to assign to one PC which already had installed Revit 2018 with student license.

I only need to change the student license to the Building Design Suite Premium license but I cannot success.

Is any way to do that without re-install the full package of Building Design Suite Premium?

It looks like you're experiencing an installation error. As there are many different issues that can cause an installation error, it is helpful to provide as much information as possible:

1. Product Version
2. Operating system you are using

I not face the installation problem. Let me clarify my situation. 

I had one PC (Window 10 64 bit) already installed and daily used Revit 2018 with student license.

Then, my employer ask me to change that PC use Building Design Suite Premium license. I still only use Revit 2018 only, so I want to change the license only without any re-install.

If you have the serial number for Building Design Suite Premium license, you can update your serial number without reinstalling the software. Follow the steps here: Updating Your Serial Number Without Reinstalling Your Software.

May I ask why your employer has a student version installed on their machines? This is a violation and your employer can be find by Autodesk.

The student version was installed long ago before I join the company (in fact, I join as few month ago and even not a IT position....) . What is the main purpose of that pc using is not my concern. Anyway, as I guess, that might be why my employer ask to install the Building Design Suite.

Well your employer has violated so many Autodesk rules and as a user I will not assist someone who is doing that.  Granted you didn't make that decision but I would be informing the company of this right now.  In addition if this student license was used to create commercial products, they also violated another rule and any information that was passed onto others they can get into trouble with Autodesk as well.  Your company is walking on thin ice and they may also have impacted those who they have dealt with.
