Autodesk Material Library 2018

After several attempts I'm unable to install Autodesk Material Libraries for both Revit 2018 and AutoCAD

Without your installation log file we can only speculate what the issue at this point.  So post your installation file.. Posting info: Sometimes installation log files contain personal information such as your serial #.  Prior to posting your log file please make sure to remove such info.

Hi,

i've been trying to install AUTOCAD 2018 (Win. 10, 64bits) and everytime i get this log error:

Install    Autodesk Material Library 2018    Failed    Installation aborted, Result=1618

 i tried everything and nothing works.

what should i do?

That's weird. I never had that problem

Is Autodesk Material Library 2018 free or a licensed product? Plus, how do i go about finding which apps are free and which require a lic?

Welcome to the Autodesk User's Community..

Material libraries are supporting application/files that get installed with your licensed Autodesk product.

So, in other words, its free or part of a license product?

Yes technically its free but without having an Autodesk product installed that use's material information its doesn't do anything.

Is there an easier way to determine which one is the main lic product? I'm trying to figure out which ones are free so I can delete them and only have the ones that really have a fee attached to them.

The information you have provided contain supporting files for the application to run and be supported.   Just removing stuff is not recommended.  What are you trying to do?
