Myself and another user an update notification in the Application Manager for "AutoCAD Architecture 2015 D-A-CH Extension Object Enabler 64-bit", but neither of us have AutoCAD Architecture, in fact no one in out company does.  If you click on the Install button it opens an extraction/installer dialog box that is all in German.  Has anyone else seen this?  See attached image.

I am using Autodesk Architecture 2015, and got the same update notification, also in German, when I tried to install.

Hi @bakerdb and welcome to the community @b.smed213,

You can download and install the Autodesk Application Manager here, it should provide you with a language selection in the version. Could you provide screenshots, if possible of the Application Manager in German only, if you did not have a language selection screen. The application manager only allows products to be download directly.

@matthew.d, When I downloaded the update, and tried to install it, the screen I got looked exactly like the image that bakerdb has attached to his post.

Matt,

I think both b.smed213 and I already have  the Application Manager installed.  I recently installed AutoCAD 2016 and it installed with that and it was the English version for 2016.  Attached is an image of the Application Manager with the update and then again the image from before showing the installer in German.  If you click on "View Details" in the expaded area for that update, it takes you to a description page that is also in German or maybe it is not German maybe it is Dutch, I am not sure.  I went to my Autodesk Account page and looked for this update, which I found and if I download it and double click on the installer I get the same dialog in German or Dutch.

Hi @bakerdb,

Ah I see, so the DACH Extension is a optional extension for AutoCAD Architecture  or Civil 3D and is only available in German as it is language specific. It allows you to read DACH content which only relates to the German Country Kit. You therefore do need it, if only using the program in English.

Is there a way to hide updates such as this one from the update manager? As of now, I just have this one sitting there saying "install failed" because I realized during installation that I didn't need it.

Hi @Anonymous,

Have you tried updating to the Autodesk desktop app? It should give you the ability to hide or show older updates, which are not the most current. Also, if you would like more functionality, try submitting your feedback directly in the app and the team will look into this. See screenshot below:

I am not given the option to hide any updates. I do not see an option to update the desktop app, but I do have "Automatically install Autodesk desktop app updates" checked in settings. My version is: 6.1.0.272

Those are the most recent updates @Anonymous, so they will remain on top. Please use the submit feedback button within the desktop app, if you prefer them to be displayed differently. That form goes directly to the team.
