Autodesk activation error

I installed Autodesk 2017 a month ago and used it for 30 days as a trial run without activating and then I uninstalled it and downloaded again with all my student information so that I can use it for next 3 years but its not activating now, it keeps on saying that the license is expired. Can anyone please help me with that. Thanks

Hi @Anonymous Welcome to Autodesk Community!

Sorry to hear you're having the problem with your license. Please follow the instruction in this link: Convert a Trial to a Paid License with the serial number and product key for your student software. It applies to educational license as well. Let us know if it works.

1st. When i open autocad1st. When i open autocad3rd, after i click on next3rd, after i click on next2nd, after i click on activate2nd, after i click on activateHey Lynn,

Thanks for taking out your time to help me in this regard. I really appreciate it.

So I tried to fix the issue by following the steps stated in the link you gave me but the 2nd step says complete your purchase and for that I have to make a payment so I'm kind of stuck in that.

I'm also posting the screenshots of the error I'm facing while activating, it might help you to understand the issue better.

Did you create a student account and request AutoCAD 2017?  IF so when did you do this?  If a month ago your serial # may have too many characters in it.  Can you tell us how many characters your serial # has?

Hi @Anonymous

In this case, could you go back to Education Community and request a new license for your student software? The issue has been fixed and the new serial number should work now.
