Autocad Lt 2019 Trial Activation Error

I had to clone my hard drive / put in a new one and the trial AutoCAD LT now states there is an Activation Error.   I signed into my account and I have 25 days left on trial.   I assume the clone process messed things up, how can I re-activate the trial.

Messing around like that (cloning hard drive and etc) will void the trial period.  The only way to correct this is to reformat your hard drive or install it on another machine.

Hello @icsbw

Sorry for the delay. I see on my end that you have a Trail that now indicates 12 days left which is accurate with the days you stated. So as of today you should have 12 days left on your trial.

If you can not access your Trial application because of the error try to uninstall & reinstall. There is no way to reset a Trial.

Thank you.

Hi,

Well, I wasn't just 'messing' around. It was a necessary repair that I needed to perform involving hard drive replacement to keep my project work moving along for the development software I use. AutoCad LT was just a trial and not a big deal if it didn't work out / and definitely not worth a re-format effort. Plus, after had the trial now, I will probably end up using on a month-to-month subscription basis, as-needed. I was able to just delete the install, then re-install later that day and it worked out. The trial period picked up with the correct number of remaining days.
