I did a complete un-install then re-installed AutoCAD LT 2018 on the Windows 10 laptop.
Now I am able to use the software under MY User login. However, when the laptop owner logs on and tries to open it the error is displayed:
"Establish an internet connection to continue" "The Autodesk license server can't be found."
I am hoping that I don't have to have this high level user log on so it can be installed again under his user ID. He doesn't have admin rights so
I would have to authenticate for the installation.
Does anyone know how to get this software to work for ALL Users of a computer?
I've opened a case with Autodesk but have not received a reply. We log on here in an Enterprise network environment and group policy disables the possibility of adding Exceptions to the Proxy settings. I've also reviewed the list of Exception URLs that would need to be whitelisted and I don't think that our network security team will be willing to do this.
All we need is to be able to use AutoCAD LT 2018 as a standalone product on a computer. We have no need for cloud services and I don't feel that we should be required to provide other information.
Help!!!
