Hello sharanchandola and welcome to the Autodesk community!

It looks like you are stuck at the activation/installation step while attempting to download software, or are having problems with starting your software immediately after installing. The following article(s) should help you resolve the problem:

Communication Failure message during download and installation - Note that this article also provides alternate downloading and installation methods.

Application Manager Update stuck at installing

In order to manually activate your software (in cases where the activation appears stuck), please refer to Manually Activating Your Autodesk Software.

If the activation window is not displayed, others have resolved this by completely uninstalling and reinstalling their software. Please refer to How to Remove all Software from a Windows System for assistance.

Use the Virtual Agent to download the software. Once it's completely downloaded, you can run the installation.

Hello,

Solve the problem of Autodesk 2017 installation consists of Microsoft Visual C ++.

Solution:
1. open window settings, applications and features, desinstaler all Microsoft Visual C ++ 2012 Redistributable (86) and (68), Microsoft Visual C ++ 2013 Redistributable (86) and (68), Microsoft Visual C ++ Redistributable 2015 (86) and (68). one by one, it may take a few minutes, once finished close the window.

** No need to restart the PC.

2. SETUP.exe can open the file and begin the installation Autodesk.

Autodesk Setup again installed the Visual C ++ 2012, 2015, do not need intalarlos again if required for other programs can download in the official website of Microsoft.

I hope it will help them.

Regards

Jc.

Hi @Anonymous

As mentioned by @Darin.Green, use the Virtual Agent to download the files. You can then also do a manual .NET & C++ cleanup and delete temporary files in your TEMP folder. Instead of reposting the entire thread with appropriate links and images here, you could visit THIS thread which shows you how to accomplish this. This will guide you through the above-mentioned steps.

The particular link above relates to AutoCAD 2015 on Windows 8, but the steps outlined resolved installation issues for other members trying to install AutoCAD 2017 on Windows 10.

I hope this helps and welcome to the community! Smiley Happy
