I needed to upgrade one of my user's computer. I could not find the LT download without an email/user account. I used my company email to set up an account while troubleshooting for a different user a while back, so I used that same account to download the executable to install AutoCAD LT 2020 (The license does not specify an AutoCad LT version so I assumed 2020 was fine - "2 X AutoCAD LT Single User").
Here is the type of license I have -
" AutoCAD LT Commercial Product Subscription Renewal Single-user Annual Non - Specific Worldwide Windows "
The user was previously using Autocad LT 2017. We have 2 single user licenses (one of which is for this user). I was able to install Autocad LT 2020 successfully, but unable to find a place to activate it without logging in. I used the same login and was able to get to the activation window to pop-up. I chose the 'serial number' option and it seemed like it activated and it generated the html confirmation.
But I went to try and sign out of the program (user previously did not have to sign in) and it kicked me out saying the licensing was not set up. Subsequent attempts to activate it now say that I need to talk to my administrator to use the product, the serial key I entered is populated. If I exit out of that - it gives the "improperly setup" error and exits.
Is it as simple as resetting the license - I do not want to mess this up any further than it already is.
Any advice or help is appreciated.
Thanks!
