ACAD 2022 deployment fails - 1603 error

I am trying to get a custom deployment to work.  It keeps failing when it tries to install ACAD 2022.  I have tried several times to get it to work, but still get the same results.

The error log mentions the "Autodesk Save to Web and Mobile" app. Not sure exactly what this is because this app does not show up under Programs and Features. Not exactly sure if the log is telling me this is the issue or not, since it is listed AFTER the 1603 error.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

@karthur1

Didn't you have some other installation issues prior?

I did have issues accessing my "named User Account".  That was on a different computer and now have this resolved.

For this instance, I have created a deployment that includes Inventor, ACAD and Vault Pro.  Inventor and Vault Pro installs, but ACAD does not.  I then created a deployment with just ACAD and it still does not work.

Thanks

According to the log, a newer version of save to web is already installed. Are you installing Inventor 2023? It's probably installing the newer version. Curious, why don't you install Acad 2023 to fix the bugs from 2022?

Ran into the same problem. And as @Ed__Jobe says - there's already a newer version of the 'Save to web and mobile' plugin installed. But the ODIS installer is pretty stupid - it detects a newer version but doesn't know how to handle it. Remove the newer version and the installer no longer throws this error.

I thought the "Save to Web and Mobile" app was the issue and I would have uninstalled it if only I could find under the Programs and Features.  Of coarse it was not listed and I could not find a way around this.  Ended up doing a clean uninstall of ALL Autodesk products on the workstation and re-ran the deployment.  It worked after doing that.

The reason for the 2022 install rather than 2023, it that we just upgraded our ADMS server from 2020 to 2022.  I can't move to 2023 until I get everyone moved from 2020 to 2022 first, then I can upgrade the ADMS server to 2023 (ADMS is backwards compatible only 2 versions).  I may just skip 2023 all together and go straight to 2024.

Thanks

@karthur1 Perhaps you wouldn't run into the issue if you separated acad 2022 to a separate deployment, installed that first, then installed the Inventor deployment. That would give you control over the order of install so that the 2023 version of save to web doesn't get installed before the 2022 version.

I thought the same thing.  Creating a separate deploy failed with the same error in the log file.  Doing a clean uninstall then re-ran the deploy with ACAD, Inventor and Vault Pro worked.
