Hello all, I get "Install Failed" message each time I tried to download 3ds Max; I have the AEC license.

Prepare to install and use Browser Download from your Autodesk account instead.

I'm having the same problem trying to install any version of 2022. I've uninstalled 7-zip then installing AutoCAD, tried reinstalling then installing AutoCAD, and uninstalled 7-zip again. I've tried installing AutoCAD 2022 from the desktop app and I get "7-zip error". I've tried installing from Manage.autodesk.com. I've tried "install now" "download now" and "browser download" all attempts fail.

Restart your PC.
Go to your Accounts Page and grab your software (and updates) from there like we all do, see if bypassing the Desktop App fixes your issue. Here is the link https://manage.autodesk.com/cep/#products-services/all

Thanks but as I said I've tried that. I tried all 3 methods of installing. I've restarted a dozen times.

You might need to employ this Microsoft Tool to fix incomplete removed content and help fix new install issues as well https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-r...

If that failed take your computer/laptop to a repair shop next if your IT folks hit a wall.

You can also start a support ticket and schedule a 1-to-1 with an actual Autodesk Support member from your Autodesk Account page, or whip out a credit card for a 3rd party help here https://servicesmarketplace.autodesk.com/

I found a workaround that allowed me to install the 2022 Autodesk products. I had to create and point Windows to a new temp folder. Here's the instructions. But instead of steps 3 & 4 just do a search for Environment Variables.

"SecondRun /lang en-us /FirstRunThreadId" when installing or uninstalling Autodesk software | AutoCA...
