Hi all,

My 3ds max has been working fine until this morning that it stuck on the activation page although i got the serial number and signed in option correctly. I tried reinstall repair deleting ADUT file choose forget password and all that solutions can be found online but none of it works. It keeps on looping even i got numerous email saying that this product is successfully activated. Also, could not activated offline as once i go online the loop comes back again.

Please see attached for the frustration. Thank you

You deleted this do you mean?

  1. If the issue persists, try to follow these steps to reset your local license information:

Windows

Note: The below folder/files could be hidden. Make sure to enable view for hidden files/folders in Windows.
  • Close any running Autodesk programs.
  • Sign out and Exit from Autodesk Desktop App and A360 if you are using them.
  • Go to C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ and delete the ADUT folder
  • Go to C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\ and delete the ADUT folder
  • Delete the 3 files that begins with the adskflex in C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet.
  • Delete the file LoginState.xml in C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Web Services
  • Restart the software - you will be asked to repeat the activation process

Hi Mdavis,

Yes, I deleted all of the listed file, except  LoginState.xml, which is not inside my folder. I tried deleting all 3ds max folder in my computer for clean re-installation as well but not sure why the endless activation page still exists...very frustrating..

This message is related to you having a single user subscription type of license and could appear for different reasons.  I would suggest that you review this >>article<< for additional information.

Thank you all of your help and suggestions, the activation loop has been solved using the request code from Autodesk website method. So glad that everything is back to normal now. Thank you.
