This error is caused by envelope wall constructions having more than 10 layers.  You can either remove unnecessary duplication of layers in the construction or override the construction using generic types with matching thermal properties.  Please see the options in the "Energy Settings", advanced options, material thermal properties.  Alternatively, you can uncheck the "Detailed Elements" option and use Insight factor widgets to set the envelope thermal properties.

Thank you for your help. The situation now seems better but not solved.

errore GBS 2.pngHow can I identify the LAYERS aim0231 and aim0266 in my model?

Cordially

Hello,

Unfortunately the layers are often automatically given names by Insight are not used in the Revit model.

I can try to help find the construction names for you. Please do the following to help us investigate the problem:

  1. Log into Green Building Studio https://gbs.autodesk.com with your Autodesk account (Green Building Studio is the analysis engine used by Insight 360)
  2. You will be taken to the Projects page
  3. Click on the Project associated with the failed analysis
  4. You will be taken to the Runs List page
  5. Open the Actions menu and select Export the run list to Excel
  6. You can reply to me in a personal message with the Runs List file attached

Hi @Anonymous

The error indicates that at least four of the construction elements in your Revit model have thermal property values for conductivity that are not within reasonable ranges. Review the conductivity values and edit them as necessary.

Alternatively you can perform the Insight analysis using default constructions in your model by deselecting "Detailed Elements" in the Insight Energy Settings > Advanced. See the Material Thermal Properties section of this Help Topic for more information: Advanced Energy Settings

Let us know if you have more questions on this topic, otherwise please accept as a solution so that others can benefit from this information.

Regards,

Hello,

I'm having a similar error, but it doesn't mention conductivity or another element.

Thank you,

It seems that the values of the coordinates are very high. Try to move your building to the origin of coordinates.

This blunder is brought about by envelope divider developments having in excess of 10 layers. You can either eliminate pointless duplication of layers in the development or supersede the development by utilizing nonexclusive sorts with matching warm properties. If it's not too much trouble, see the choices in the "Energy Settings", "Progressive Choices," and "Material Warm Properties." On the other hand, you can uncheck the "Point [by] Point Elements" choice and use the Insight factor gadgets to set the envelope warm properties.

On the other hand, you can play out the Insight examination involving default developments in your model by deselecting "Definite Elements" in the Insight Energy Settings > Advanced. See the Material Thermal Properties part of this help topic for more data: Advanced Energy Settings

In any case, please acknowledge this as an answer so that others can benefit from the information.
