It is possible to connect (xref) the database nowadays but the problem is that objects do not recognize styles aplied in XREF database. The program know that this is road, and this is building but it know nothing about the style - height, texture, widht...
The workaround is to export model into IMX and reimport the data again.
* importing IMX does not recognize roundabouts - they transform into classic crossroad
