Terrain Integration with Revit

Terrain Integration with Revit

To solve a common workflow for Architects that need to make conpect designs of urbanism, it should be very usefull to transform/convert surfaces, street, runway, pads and any terrain adjustment made on INFRAWORKS to editable objects in REVIT. For example, a runway or a street would be converted to a Floor, surfaces to Terrain, and so on...

Because SiteDesigner isn´t working very well and even with much patience and deep care, you need to have a Civil3D file to have the result in SiteDesigner.

With Infraworks integration into Revit we cover the early stages of Conceptual Design.

This is common for Government first estimations of investiment, or Huge Condominium Master Plan.

We cannot use the InfraWorks > Civil 3D > Revit workflow because we don't subscribe to BIM360 and need that in order to publish the toposurfaces.

Please let us link an IW model directly into Revit, along with the ability to assign Revit materials to items.
