SnakeGrid is a way of developing low-distortion coordinate systems for large engineering projects – in particular railways, highways and pipelines. For projects extending for hundreds of kilometres, it provide a single seamless coordinate system with a scale factor within a few parts per million of unity all along the route and for several kilometres on either side.

Its mandated by a number of clients including HS2, i cant use infraworks without the support and as a quick visualization tool utlising models in snakegrid it would be very useful for our project.
