Roadside Grading - Grade to Daylight/Surface

Roadside Grading - Grade to Daylight/Surface

So some revisions to the roadside grading feature would be much appreciated. Currently, There is no "grade to daylight" feature on the fixed slope option. I just have to set my fixed slopes (usually 2:1) grading limits crazy high instead.

Another issue is "double daylighting" (see attached photo). In the attached image, you can see that in using the aforementioned method, my road will fill down to the surface, but then it will cut in the side of the mountain. this is a conceptual road through very mountainous terrain. But hey, if Autodesk can get IW360 to handle this, then the grading tool should be pretty powerful.

Thanks!

I believe with the controls available within the 2017.3 release this is now possible.  If there is some piece that is still not possible please update the idea.

Thanks

I will check, but i believe there is still a limit on the horizontal direction, eg, you furthest you go grade from a road is 324' max horizontal I believe.
