We try not to model existing rail lines, we are simply using the rails that come in with model builder. If we do have to model an,y we just use the simple draw rail command.

The existing rail lines that come with Model Builder, as well as those created using the draw rail command are not at a level of detailed design (in terms of alignment geometry, cants etc). On your rail projects, would you later be recreating these in say Civil3D during detailed design?
For the earlier design stages, what if we provided a way to convert the rail line into an equivalent component road such that you can leverage the bridge modeling capabilities as shown in my earlier response?
@ara.ashikian do you think that a deeper development of this will be taken into consideration? I am following some projects in which the rail are completely on a bridge, I will for sure follow your example!

When I ask for deeper development, basically I was thinking to the possibility to achieve the same thing we can do with the road design, obviously translated into railway possibilities.
