Quick Info and Links in the webviewer

It would be great if you can use the Quick Infos and hyperlinks also in the webviewer.

How would a user see quickinfos or hyperlinks? 

Have in mind that tablets don't offer mouse over/hover functionality.

me and my customers are working a lot with the quickinfos in the desktiop-version of InfraWorks. For example we set up quickinfos coming from the imported models or file-attributes or most often feature attribute. We are even sometimes referencing to external files an websites via url using the tooltips. It would be great if these quickinfos werde shown in the webviewer.

Hi guys,

perhaps we can use just a little marker/a pin, like a Point of Interest marker. This marker should have a relation to the originally object , for example a buildig.

Thanks for your idea. 

Here is what we plan to do:

• Points of Interest (POIs) will be published from InfraWorks 360 desktop to InfraWorks 360 web viewer  
• POIs are defined on InfraWorks 360 desktop and can contain simple text, attributes, an URL or HTML tooltips
• they appear as an additional marker in context of the whole model view including 
• once a viewer clicks on it he'll get the text/attributes/URL or HTML as a pop out

value: offer more information for viewers, or link to an URL, for example to a 3D model file on A360 drive

Quick Infos and hyperlinks of POIs (points of Interest) in the webviewer are available in the latest Sandbox build. 

• Points of Interest published from InfraWorks 360 desktop
  POIs can include
• Text or POI attributes
• HTML Tooltips
• Hyperlinks to external URLs

A tooltip in InfraWorks can be formatted as html, which allows adding more text including images or URLs. URLs on POIs can be used for example to link to:

• external web pages like project web sites
• external 3D files on A360 Drive (360.autodesk.com)
• storyboard videos on YouTube
