Hello everyone,
As you know, Infraworks is a solution that requires access to the web, in order to develop intervention and simulation of a zone of interest and use requires network privileges to work with the Autodesk servers.
When the software should be used in government agencies, such as Ministries, others, with strict policies for users and restricted access, it should be mentioned that in this type of institutions have their respective proxy, to identify the activities that each equipment.
The problem, that the software can not be configured, is that it is accessed by the proxy, although it is a transparent proxy, it does not solve the root problem.
My idea is to perform an authentication similar to Skype, so that you can configure the type of connection, port, host, among others, so that the respective ports and proxy are identified, when the user accesses their account, it is able to access through the proxy and subsequent Autodesk servers for download information.
I understand that this reality varies according to the country, ideally for this type of case, there should be some complement that allows you to configure the session and respect the security settings of each entity.
